Thank You Bouquet

Finally, an opportunity to use a "digi" bouquet that I have been holding onto for quite some time.   I kept it simple, but doing the stamping was very challenging....I couldn't get the stamps to come away from my fingers and stay straight!   I am also entering a new challenge at Allsorts Challenge Blog.   The theme this week is Beautiful Blooms!         Thanks for stopping by!      Kathy

Psalm 130.5 card

Cardmaking is so therapeutic and when you add a verse of truth the card can be used to encourage someone going through a hard time, which is almost everyone these days.     I think I made a card using the dimensions of the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches a very long time ago, but I'm not sure, So I decided to try it.   I have downloaded several sets of digital 8 1/2 x 11 papers from Etsy. For this card I used  a solid and a print from a Fashion City Pack.    I really like using them because as you can see the download prints all the way to the edge of the paper.   For the floral print I used a really nice printer paper but for the blue I used Whisper White CS from SU.  Even though the outside of the card is blue, the inside is white for writing a message.  The pictures tell the story.    Thanks for stopping by and may the LORD bless you whatever you are facing!             Thanks   Kathy

Friendship Blessing

For some time I have been meaning to use the So Sentimental Stamp Set from SU.  So I decided this sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches would work perfectly...I wanted to make something simple not too fancy and Playing with Patterns DSP seem to work very well for the look!    Even though I don't know you ladies personally, thank you for hosting this this challenge each week and I don't personally know the many ladies who participate...still there is a certain friendship that develops as you visit the blogs and see the work of fellow card makers and often hear their stories.   My story right now is one of quarantine.  I am going through chemo to fight multiple myeloma and this week following my treatment has gone very well and for this I thank the Lord Jesus.   I have actually felt like making a few cards to share with friends...and I just made a hamburger tomato pie that I am looking so forward to eating with my husband when it cools..   Last week I didn't feel like doing any of this.   All of you seem like the kind of gals I would enjoy spending time with...May the Lord bless you all for the blessing you are to me!           Kathy
