Bee Cause Card

In between doing laundry and various other things, I made a card using the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches using some papers I ordered out of the current Occasions SU book.    Everything else I used is retired.    I loved using a doilly.    Thanks for stopping in,         Kathy

Vintage Christmas Time

Today's card is a hybrid.   I found the panel paper (the wood with lace look) on Etsy and then I added the holly and sentiment from SU stamp sets.  I used an SU punch to make the ornament punching it in Cherry Cobbler and a silver metallic paper.   The base is gray granite.   Somehow I ran across the Jinglebellesrock blog challenge and it was a fun sketch to work with!    Thanks for stopping in,   Kathy

Snowflake Friendship

Generally I seem to gravitate to monochromatic coloring for my card works...It's not that I don't love color--it's just making a decision about which ones to combine together can be overwhelming.     For today's card (picture of it is cockeyed-sorry)  I wanted a calm and soft look.    A friend let me borrow her Snowflake Wishes and dies, I'm not sure if it is still current or not.  I know the blue is SU retired.   I am making more of these to swap with some friends.   The sketch is from Try Stamping on Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by,   Kathy

Hummingbird Thank You

Notes to self:  1. buy some daubers this week     2.  Start checking to make sure your base is opening the right direction before adhering panel.         This card had it's challenges which is par for the course.    My envisioner just doesn't kick in as well as I would like, it seems.   For this card I used a frame instead of solid piece because it was going to cover too much of the green leaves.   I love this new SaleABration set from SU hence I'm going to need some daubers.   I actually looked up Hummingbird pictures (I blush to admit).   I need to put out feeders this spring, they really are beautiful.   I added some aqua shimmer painter, but it doesn't show up very well in photo.  I'm playing along over at Tuesday Morning Sketches and such a nice sampling this week over there.   Check it out.  I had my 2nd Covid Vaccine this week and I am doing very well!   Thanks for stopping by and keep wearing your masks we're getting there.
