Christmas Poinsettia from Paper

One thing and then another has kept me from making cards in the last few months...but finally.   This card is made for the guidelines at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I also went back and found one of their old sketches to give me inspiration.    I always hate having small leftover pieces of wrapping paper...so I used some pieces to make this card.   I admit it is bright but I have an older friend who is spending his second Christmas alone after losing his wife, so I'm giving it to him with some banana nut bread tomorrow!
To make the lone poinsettia I cut around one from the wrapping paper-ran it through the xyron, adhered it to white cs and fussy cut it!     Merry Christmas and thanks for stopping by,   Kathy

Good Tidings

I wasn't sure about cutting the doily/wreath off, but I wanted to make a card for Try Stamping on Tuesday so here it is!      I've just started back trying to make a couple of cards a week, after a 2 month lull.   I do like the colors of this card,  I've been wanting to use this ribbon for some time now!    I used the tree stamp from Timeless Tidings to create the base using old olive on gumball green cs.   I have a lot of gumball green from years ago.   The sentiment is also from Timeless Tidings.    Thanks for coming by, have a great week!   Kathy
