Charming Day Thank You card

 

Today's Card is inspired by this week's sketch #737 at Freshly Made Sketches.  When I saw the large focal point I thought it would be perfect to showcase this beautiful SU (retired) DSP.  I think the photo shows the fussy cut flowers that I popped and the random stamping on the card base and sentiment tag.  The random stamping is done with the tiny little dots from a retired SU set Spotlight on Nature  and was stamped  using SU  bubble bath ink pad.   "Thanks" is in this same set and it was done with basic grey.  One of my favorite stamps from SU (probably some 20 years ago-and no longer living at my house) was a large rubber lace background stamp...To showcase the DSP-- I wanted to create that effect for this card.  The dark CS is SU blackberry bliss.   Thanks for stopping in and have a safe and joyful Memorial Day!   Kathy

PS I made this card for the challenge 2 weeks ago at FMS I was a little chicken to try it, my eyes don't always cooperate but finally I did get it made and just couldn't get it in on time that week...dear hubby had knee replacement and I've been his nurse for a 2 1/2 weeks tomorrow.  He is doing great now!   So thankful.
